Santo Domingo.-The election process of the presidency, general secretary and members of the Political Committee of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), is developed with the assistance of more than 90 percent of the 1,400 members of the Central Committee, the organization reported.
For the election of ownership, the Organizing Commission of the X Reinaldo Pared Pérez Congress designated a subcommittee chaired by Jaime David Fernández Mirabal and made up of Peniel Espinal, Leidy Quezada and Daniel Cruz.
In a press release the PLD explained that these members of the Commission are directing the voting process that takes place in the Karate Pavilion of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.

The other two positions are reserved for those who win the presidency and general secretary of the party, which will be contested that same day.
To form the new Political Committee, 101 leaders aspire, including the president and the Secretary General.
