Delgado also sent a special greeting to his opponent Yamandú Orsi and the militants of the Frente Amplio, and highlighted that this was the fourth time that the coalition was the most voted in the country, reaffirming the legitimacy of his mandate. “Look, the polls spoke,” he emphasized, suggesting that the popular support given to the coalition is a clear indication that citizens support the proposed path. Furthermore, he emphasized that the coalition should not only be a tool to achieve power, but also a mechanism for social transformation.
The importance of each militant was highlighted by Delgado, who highlighted that the votes are counted one by one, suggesting that each effort and dedication of those who spent hours in the streets campaigning was essential to achieve the result achieved. “Those anonymous militants of the coalition are the ones who are going to build victory on November 24,” he predicted, projecting confidence in the human resources that support his campaign.
