The 2020 National Assembly released the list of candidates for the positions of attorney general, ombudsman and comptroller general. Among the names, Tarek William Saab and Alfredo Ruiz, current heads of the Attorney General’s Office and the Ombudsman’s Office, stand out.

The committee also presented a list of 35 candidates for the position of Comptroller General, which includes Elvis Junior Hidrobo Pérez, son of the current president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), the ruling party Elvis Hidrobo Amoroso.
