In the first hours of the second round elections this Sunday (27), 19 electronic voting machines needed to be replaced across the state of São Paulo. They had some kind of problem.
The total corresponds to 0.042% of ballot boxes in operation across the state: 44,928. Of the replaced ballot boxes, 12 were in the capital.
The information is contained in the first bulletin released by the Regional Electoral Court (TRE) of São Paulo at around 9:30 am today, when municipal elections are held.
Second round
This Sunday, more than 15.6 million voters in the state of São Paulo are able to vote from 8 am to 5 pm (Brasília time). The second round takes place in 18 cities in the state, including the capital of São Paulo itself, which accounts for 60% of this electorate, with more than 9.3 million voters.
Elections are also held in the cities of Guarulhos, São Bernardo do Campo, Diadema, Mauá, Barueri, Taboão da Serra, São José dos Campos, Ribeirão Preto, São José do Rio Preto, Jundiaí, Piracicaba, Franca, Taubaté, Limeira, Sumaré , Santos and Guarujá.
