The reform of electoral laws in Venezuela will allow political participation to be strengthened in terms of peaceful, constitutional action by parties and representatives of these organizations in the defense of the sovereignty and independence of the nation; This was expressed this Friday, the president of the National Assembly (AN), deputy Jorge Rodríguez, after the meeting in the state of Anzoátegui, of the Special Legislative Commission that studies these reforms to have them approved no later than December 15.
“We have found that the situation of attack on the Venezuelan State, the blockades, the so-called sanctions and the statements against the people in general, have already moved to a higher phase, of racism. The correlation to stop this is because no one wants more sanctions, blockades, violence, whoever engages in politics must respect the Constitution and the laws,” Rodríguez summarized, during a contact with the press, accompanied by the governor of the entity, Luis José Marcano, and civil, parliamentary and various sectors authorities, from the Paradise Hotel, Venetur, in the city of Puerto La Cruz.
He called for the need for everyone to agree to recognize the results, honor to the loser and glory to the winner, which did not happen after the elections of July 28, since the extreme right and the extremist losers caused 27 deaths with their “commandos.”
Rodríguez called to take care of the peace of the Venezuelan family, which contributes to living better with economic recovery and social coexistence. “It’s already good that in electoral moments where they are not favored, anxiety is created,” he said about the Creole opposition, which only accepts when it wins and ignites violence when it loses, and that is what has happened for 25 years.
“All sectors of Anzoátegui have been invited and we will have all the proposals. Before the legislative period ends on December 15, we will be ready with the reform of the electoral laws,” he predicted, stating that to the politician who calls for war, invasions and sanctions on his own country, the State will know how to respond to a situation like that.
Brazil kneeling
When asked about Brazil’s position against Venezuela in the BRICS countries, Jorge Rodríguez was clear that foreign policy is the responsibility of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and the National Government. But he was emphatic in showing his position and personal opinion about what he called “a true historical shame of those who kneel” to the designs of the empire.
“The position that has handled the remnants of Bolsonarism that we found in the Itamaraty palace in our sister Republic of Brazil is shameful,” accused the president of the AN.
He said that, at the BRICS Summit, Venezuela with President Maduro at the helm has taken a clear position on the fundamental principles of the group, based on freedom, solidarity, brotherhood, growth and transparency of a nation, which will be a power to short term. Furthermore, it demonstrated that Venezuela has powerful global allies that recognize the need to defend the Bolivarian Revolution for the construction of a new pluripolar world.
“For those gendarmes (police) who attack and assault many people, Venezuela is an example that, despite subjecting ourselves to 960 sanctions, we managed, with hard work from the Bolivarian Government, to recover the country’s economy, in a process of frank recovery, as It does not exist in another country in Latin America where there is no blockade or sanctions, not even Brazil has had the level of economic growth of Venezuela.
