After he did not attend to testify on the 2nd and 10th of this month because the Minister of the Interior, Juan José Santiváñez, did not give him permission, the Oversight Commission has summoned, again, and for the third time, for Wednesday the 30th, the former driver of the presidential vehicle Félix Montalvo.
This, so that he can answer if he helped the leader of Peru Libre, Vladimir Cerrón, escape in the ‘chest’ or ‘Dinamóvil’, between February 24 and 25, taking him to the Pisco airport, Ica, to flee in a small plane heading to Bolivia, Venezuela or Cuba.

The inspection summons the former presidential driver for the third time.
Montalvo will also have to ratify what was stated to Punto Final that President Dina Boluarte spent the night of February 24 in the Mikonos condominium, the same one where, according to the Police, Cerrón was hidden.

THEY CHANGED IT
Yesterday afternoon, the Police reported that Montalvo was no longer assigned to the Palace after having been exposed to public opinion, and representing “a risk” to the security of the head of state.
“When an agent is exposed in a public, family, home and work manner, he constitutes a risk for the protection work he performs, which has led to the non-commissioned officer being reassigned to another specialized unit,” the statement indicates.
On the other hand, Montalvo’s lawyer, Jesús Poma, told Perú21 that today, Saturday, he will ask permission from the Police Command for his client to attend to testify at the aforementioned commission, to which he has also been summoned for the same date.
