Saab: Lula used the “accident” to lie to the Brics and the world

The Public Prosecutor's Office will issue a third summons to Edmundo González

The president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva, used his alleged domestic accident as an alibi for not attending the Brics summit and being able to perpetrate the veto that prevented Venezuela from entering the bloc, said the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek. William Saab.

Through his Instagram account, Saab recommended that the Head of State be investigated for this lie, while showing a video showing the Brazilian president healthy and “acting using his full powers,” contrary to what he had argued. to avoid traveling to the Brics summit.

“Direct and close sources from Brazil inform me that President Lula da Silva manipulated an alleged accident to use it as an alibi in order not to attend the recent BRICS Summit, and that this version was nothing more than a deception for “perpetrate the veto against Venezuela, evading his responsibility before President Putin, the other attending leaders and in particular, President Nicolás Maduro Moros,” he highlighted.

In this sense, he highlighted that these actions by Lula Da Silva have generated great discomfort in the Latin American left and the revolutionary movements of the world who have repudiated this aggression perpetrated against Venezuela “following instructions from the historical enemies of our people.”

It is important to remember that, in recent days, Saab repudiated the attitude assumed by President Lula with respect to Venezuela and assured that he would have been captured by the CIA.

“Who are you, Boric, who are you, Lula, (…) to interfere in the internal affairs of Venezuela and now be the CNE?” said the prosecutor in statements to a private television channel.

Reelection of the prosecutor

It is worth reporting that, in recent days, the president of the Committee for the Evaluation of Applications to Citizen Power, deputy Giuseppe Alessandrello, confirmed that Saab registered his application to be re-elected as Attorney General of the Republic.

In this sense, the parliamentarian highlighted that the law does not indicate that there is any impediment for these aspirations to be valid.
