Deputy José Gregorio Correa, vice president of the Citizen Power Nomination Evaluation Commission, announced that this Saturday, October 26, the list of candidates for the positions of Comptroller General of the Republic, Attorney General of the Republic and Defender will be published. of the People, according to the Telegram account of the National Assembly.
The publication will be made in the media and on social networks, the parliamentarian declared this Friday.
As you will remember, the Committee for Evaluation of Applications to Citizen Power is chaired by the deputy Giuseppe Alessandrello, in the vice presidency the deputy José Gregorio Correa and is made up of José Óscar Villarroel García, María Gabriela Vega, Desiré Santos Amaral, Gloria Mercedes Castillo De Durán, Nicia Maldonado, Ginkellys Vanessa Gutiérrez, Nancy Ascencio, Fernando Bastidas Calderón, Carolina García Carreño, Alfonso Campos Jessurún, and Timoteo Zambrano.
After having announced the requirements that must be met by those who aspire to the aforementioned positions, the candidates’ folders have been received at the Bolivian Museum.
Once the Nominations Committee evaluates the candidates, it will be the plenary session of the National Assembly that will designate the new members of the Citizen Power.
It should be noted that Giuseppe Alessandrello confirmed to the media that the instance received the nomination of the attorney general and the ombudsman, Alfredo José Ruiz Angulo.
He added that the law does not indicate that there is any impediment for these aspirations to be valid.
