Captured subject who strangled his ex-partner

Maduro's warning that caused Lula da Silva "fear"

Officials from the regional police of the state of Sucre captured Héctor García (Tito), accused of the murder of his ex-partner, according to judicial sources.

The event occurred last Wednesday at the residence of Linny Said Gil Luiggi (30), located in Mauraco Abajo, Arismendi municipality (Río Caribe), Sucre. There the man, who had already separated from Linny, began to argue with her in the presence of their two daughters.

In the middle of that discussion, the subject hit the woman and when she saw her down, he grabbed her by the neck, applying pressure until she died, according to preliminary versions. After that, alias Tito fled the site and wandered along the roads of Sucre until he was captured this Thursday in the town of Tunapuy. He was handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office.
