Fesirmes and the mayor reach agreements, but the 72-hour strike continues

The Federation of Unions of Medical Branches of Public Health (Fesirmes) and Mayor Jhonny Fernández reached some agreements this Friday afternoon. Despite this, The health sector still maintains the 72-hour strike in force scheduled for next week, starting Wednesday.

Sergio Echazú, executive secretary of Fesirmes, reported that the meeting that took place at the Comprehensive Center of district 9, had positive results, that must be analyzed and materialized next Monday, October 28.

On the other hand, Echazú ruled out that the resignation or removal of Adriana Amelunge from her position as municipal secretary of Health has been requested.
