The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) will once again test the integrity of the systems used in the electronic ballot box to receive and total votes, aiming to give even more credibility to the equipment that will be used in the second round of the 2024 municipal elections.
The authenticity and integrity test of the electoral systems will be carried out this Saturday (26th), the day before the election, from 12pm by the entities that have been legitimized to participate in this electoral inspection process, with the aim of certifying that the system has not been modified.
“It is the Integrity and Authenticity Verification Ceremony of Electoral Systems, another audit and inspection opportunity that highlights the transparency and reliability of the electronic voting system”, explained the TSE.
The inspection will be at the TSE headquarters, in Brasília. “The participating institutions will be able to verify whether the totalization system is the same as the one that was digitally signed by the supervisory entities themselves in the digital signature and sealing ceremony of the electoral systems, concluded on September 10th of this year”, detailed the court.
