The large fire that affected the Eunice furniture store this Thursday afternoon, located on Isabel Aguiar Avenue, in the Herrera sector, Santo Domingo Oeste, has been completely controlled.
This was reported by the Colonel Fernando Arturo Santanaa member of the SDO Fire Department, who indicated that, so far, no injuries have been reported.
«At 4:08 our first unit left. There are no injuries at this time. The three floors are now fully controlled, we are already doing the final review to, if there is a focus, extinguish it,” said Arturo Santana.
He added that, later, members of the institution’s technical department will proceed to carry out the corresponding investigation to determine what caused the accident.
