Maduro: Brics political agenda unifies humanity

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted that the Brics bloc is being consolidated and assured that the union of countries from the global south is the path for Venezuela.

“Because it is the dream of the balance of the universe, and the dream of Chávez, the new world geopolitics, which is the pluripolar, multicentric world, and this is the main articulator, it is the epicenter, and the great steps are being taken based on that,” the head of state reflected this Thursday to the media from the Russian city of Kazan, where the 16th summit of the bloc took place.

Maduro affirmed that the Brics have a powerful economic agenda, and from this summit he has added the political agenda: “which I believe unifies humanity, and in that sense the unification of humanity, that is why I say, we We are from the Brics family, for long before, for 200 years, we are from the Brics,” he reiterated.

The first national leader highlighted the presence of Venezuela at the presidential level in the high-level meetings of the Brics, and assured that the work continues.

“Now the work is coming, because it is about consolidating the economic agenda, which is the new financial architecture, the new monetary architecture, and it is an integration of the new superpowers, China, Russia, India; the emerging powers, Iran, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia; and the countries that are modestly emerging as their own project of independence and dignity,” he stated.
