Orchestrating, the musical training program in prisons for social reintegration promoted by the National Penitentiary Institute (INPE) is the unanimous winner of the Good Practices in Public Management 2024 award in the Education category organized by Ciudadanos al Día (CAD).
It should be noted that there were 11 public institutions that applied for this award.
Orchestrating, he bases his pedagogical proposal on how: Music listening and appreciation, vocal and instrumental performance, music reading and writing, and music creation. This program encourages positive change in the nearly 700 people deprived of liberty in 21 prisons which contributes to building good self-esteem, teamwork, encourages good coexistence, improving prison treatment.

Through Orquestando, more than 95% of participants, in the last 7 years, have not reoffended in crime, which shows that the resocialization of inmates through music is possible.
