Nicolás Maduro met with his counterparts from Iran, Bolivia and Vietnam

This Wednesday the head of state also held a meeting with the authorities of China, Russia, Türkiye, Palestine, Ethiopia and Belarus

The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduroheld new meetings this Thursday with counterparts from several countries who came to the Russian city of Kazan to participate in the XVI Brics Summit.

The president met with his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian, to strengthen bilateral cooperation and expand economic ties, “promoting the development of their strategic sectors,” reports Presidential Press through its account on the social network Instagram.

The two authorities were accompanied by their respective delegations.

The head of state also spoke with his Bolivian counterpart, Luis Arce, with whom he reviewed the joint agreements in various areas such as hydrocarbons, petrochemicals, mining, education, health, trade, communication, justice and air connection.

Both authorities shared the vision of an international order based on respect, solidarity and “cooperation without hegemonies.”

On the other hand, President Maduro’s agenda included a meeting with the Prime Minister of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh, conducive to addressing the map of cooperation in strategic areas.

It is important to remember that this Wednesday the president also had bilateral meetings with the authorities of China, Russia, Türkiye, Palestine, Ethiopia and Belarus.
