The Seventh National Preparatory Investigation Court scheduled an in-person hearing for next October 31 to analyze the revocation of restrictive appearance for preventive detention, formulated by the Public Ministry against Vladimir Cerrón Rojas.

The defense of the aforementioned investigated, in addition to requesting the variation of the preventive detention that weighs on the fugitive former governor of Junín, has also requested to change the appearance with restrictions to simple appearance.
The hearing will begin at 09:00 am on Thursday the 31st at the facilities of the National Superior Court of Specialized Criminal Justice.

At the end of August of this year, the Third National Criminal Appeals Chamber declared void the resolution of the Sixth National Preparatory Investigation Court that ordered 12 months of preventive detention against Cerrón and refused to vary appearance with restrictions for simple appearance, raised by his defense.
The Chamber also ordered that another preparatory investigation judge issue a new resolution.
