FLINTS.— It is estimated that next November the construction work on the border wall or fence that the Dominican Government is building on the border with Haiti will be completed.
And the fact is that the construction contractors are giving the finishing touches so that border controls and surveillance are more efficient.
A reliable source assured that the deadlines are being met, anticipating that the progress is dizzying to conclude the first stage.
Meanwhile, preliminary work is being carried out for the construction of the Binational Market on this side of the border, since the fence left the structure outside the military surveillance perimeter.
The construction of the Binational Market is carried out with funds donated by the Executive power and resources of the Border Development Directorate.
