«Poverty and migration are two topics that have been linked to me since I was little, this because I am the daughter of migrants. My mother had to leave her place of origin for economic reasons and migrate to another country where she had to overcome many barriers. I had to help raise my younger sisters, along with my grandmother, and despite all those difficulties with a lot of effort I managed to get ahead, that is why today I am willing to help people like me who have experienced difficult situations,” García detailed when starting a video about the presentation of his social project.
