The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that the organized Popular Power will propose volunteers to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to join its ranks as soldiers.
“When there are seasons for recruiting soldiers for our glorious FANB, the soldiers have to come as volunteers proposed by the communes, communal councils and communal circuits,” explained the also commander in chief of the FANB this Monday during the transmission No. 63 of the program With Maduro+.
He explained that Venezuelans now voluntarily provide military service and contrasted it with the time of “mandatory conscription” of the Fourth Republican era.
On the other hand, Maduro criticized the “Miami complexes” who mocked the indigenous combat techniques developed by a group of FANB specialists.
“I tell you: do not underestimate the Venezuelan soldier, look that these soldiers liberated all of America with Bolívar at the front. They are the invincible soldiers of Junín and Ayacucho; “We are the most powerful soldiers on this continent,” he emphasized.
Likewise, the first national leader dismissed the mockery and reaffirmed that the FANB does not stop “not even a second from preparing for peace and to win.”
Last October 14President Maduro ordered the new military authorities and commanders of the FANB “to walk alongside the soldiers to strengthen and improve the military well-being of the troops and officers,” affected by the sanctions.
He also requested to perfect the doctrinal, ideological and military technical training system, in addition to advancing in the adaptation of the defense system in the country, as well as deepening the civic-military and police fusion as one of the priorities on which this renewal of the military forces.
