The alleged victim of the human trafficking case -of which Evo Morales is accused- and his mother are in the country, said lawyer Carlos Trujillo.
The jurist defends IPS, which did not appear to provide its informative statement in the tax investigation, until now, and a case in which former president Evo Morales is also included.
According to Trujillo, both the victim and her mother are safe, because “there is no legal security for both.”
He declined to give more details about the whereabouts of the women, but he assured that they are in Bolivia. With this data, It is ruled out that they left for Argentina, considering that they have a house in San José de Pocitos, on the border with Salvador Mazza.
The lawyer He questioned the raid on his client’s homefor being, supposedly, invalid, by the commission of prosecutors that investigates the case of human trafficking and smuggling.
During the intervention they collected some evidence and took statements from the relatives of the alleged victim and her mother.
Likewise, the jurist announced the presentation of memorials before the Departmental Prosecutor’s Office of Tarija to make the legal claim.
Trujillo stated that he is unaware of the audios of the alleged victim, which circulated days ago on social networks and some media outlets.
The aforementioned case was declared reserved for 10 days, to be completed during the course of this week. This will allow the Public Ministry to issue a report on the progress made to date.
