The Grassroots Football Development Seminar, taught by former footballer and Boca Juniors legend, Carlos Fernando “el Mono” Navarro Montoya, concluded successfully.
For three intense days, the renowned former goalkeeper shared his knowledge with coaches and trainers from soccer academies from the 10 provinces of the country, in an effort to strengthen the development of the sport at the national level.
The activity was organized by the Foundation for Education and Human Development of Panama (FEDHUPA) and the Mario Méndez FC Academy, with the support of the Panamanian Sports Institute.

Navarro Montoya, currently an international speaker and technical director with CONMEBOL and UEFA licenses, shared techniques, strategies and his vast professional experience with the participants, underlining the importance of training athletes from the ground up with a modern and effective methodology.
The success of the seminar highlights the joint effort between the organizations involved and Pandeportes’ commitment to providing opportunities that strengthen sport in all its areas.
The Panamanian Sports Institute continues to work on promoting physical activity and recreation to continue raising the quality of coaches, so that they have the knowledge and can develop more children, youth and adults.
