Santo Domingo.- The Army of the Dominican Republic presented two more Dominican citizens to the Public Ministry for submission to justice by traffic undocumented, after being detained at the El Indio checkpoint, in the Independencia province, while transporting illegal immigrants.
Antonio Cuevas Díaz and Savier Fauricio Jiménez Pérez were detained in a black Honda car at the entrance to the municipality of Duvergé, with three Haitian nationals on board, who did not have legal documentation.

As established, undocumented foreigners were handed over to the General Directorate of Migration for verification and subsequent repatriation to their country of origin.
With these arrests, there are now 14 Dominicans brought to justice during this month of October for trafficking of undocumented immigrants, among them a Police captain and a private from the Army of the Dominican Republic (ERD).
