With a 45% preference, the Frente Amplio candidate positions himself with a wide advantage over his main competitors, consolidating his favoritism in the final stretch towards the elections.
In second place appears the official candidate, Álvaro Delgado, who reaches 23% of voting intentions, while Andrés Ojeda, from the Colorado Party, is in third place with 22%. Both candidates register a minimal difference in their percentages, maintaining a tight competition for second place.
For his part, the leader of Cabildo Abierto, Guido Manini Ríos, accumulates 1.7%, followed by Pablo Mieres (Partido Independiente) with 1.2%. Among the other candidates, Gustavo Salle obtains 2.8%, while Eduardo Lust (0.7%), César Vega (0.6%) and Rafael Fernández (0.4%) complete the electoral preference list.
The study was carried out using a sample of 1,621 online cases and has a margin of error of ±2.8% for the main candidates. Also notable is the 2% of people who chose to vote blank, null or who did not respond about their voting intention.
