The Nicaraguan Sheynnis Palacios, Miss Universe 2023, through social networks, shared her most recent photo session less than a month after handing over the crown to the candidate who wins in the 73rd edition of the most important beauty contest, which will be held next November 16, in Mexico City.
Palacios was captured by the lens of Manuel Matus. She posed with a wardrobe chosen by Roberto de la Nuva, which included a black skirt with a wide opening on the right leg; and a silver top, shaped like a butterfly, decorated with flowers, apparently metallic.

The Miss Universe organization, in the description of the photo shoot, stated that Palacios’ legacy “will ignite a movement of women who dare to dream, dare to lead and dare to change the world.”
No date to arrive in Nicaragua
The sovereign of world beauty, although she already has less than a month to complete her work as Miss Universe 2023, still has not set foot on Nicaraguan territory.
Palacios and the director of the Miss Universe organization, Raúl Rocha, in recent months have stated that the Pinolera beauty’s agenda is to travel to her homeland, but a few days before the end of the reign they have not announced the date on which that this will come to fruition.

On November 18, 2023, Sheynnis Palacios represented Nicaragua in the 72nd edition of the Miss Nicaragua beauty pageant, becoming the winner of said pageant. She has traveled around the world, visiting more than 30 countries, but she has not been able to celebrate her triumph with the Nicaraguan people whom she came to represent in said beauty pageant.
The Miss Nicaragua organization along with its directors, after Palacios’ triumph, was persecuted by the Ortega-Murillo regime, which even canceled its legal personality and prevented the owners of this franchise from returning to Nicaragua. However, the representative of world beauty has publicly insisted that she can reach Nicaragua, that they will receive her with open arms and that she is not an exile or politically persecuted.
