When will the new 48-hour university strike take place?

The universities nationals have announced a new 48-hour strike, which will take place on Monday, October 21 and Tuesday, October 22. This forceful measure is aimed at repudiating the President’s veto of the University Financing Law, a decision that has generated great controversy and discomfort in the university community.

The strike announcement was made by the National Federation of Teachers University students (CONADU) and the Trade Union Front of National Universities (FATUN), who have expressed their discontent with the lack of negotiations with the Government and the lack of increased funds in the 2025 Budget.
