Among the legal actions against the reform are the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) to open a controversy to analyze whether it can cancel the reform.
Protections have also been approved that order the CJF not to collaborate with the Senate in the organization of the election of judges and magistrates. However, the Council agreed, in a private session on October 10, to collaborate with the information required for the election.
And last Thursday, Nancy Juárez Salas, judge of the Nineteenth District Court, based in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, ordered the publication of the Judicial Reform to be eliminated.

The judge considered that both President Claudia Sheinbaum and the director of the DOF, Alejandro López González, failed to comply with a provisional suspension that she had previously granted so that the reform would not be published.
In this regard, the governors of Morena supported Sheinbaum, who also accused the judge of exceeding her duties.
