In statements to the ‘NR Sports’ agency, he recalled the moment in which he realized the seriousness of his injury: “I felt enormous pain and I already knew it was serious.” The 31-year-old footballer will now face the tune-up and could not hold back his tears as he relived the last twelve months. He confessed, through tears: “What I love most in life is playing football. Every day that I walk away from it is a day of suffering. So that… That is what hurts me the most.”
