Opposition leader Edmundo González Urrutia reported that he had to go to a hospital in Spain after having a “misstep” that caused an injury to his left arm.
“He who falls gets up!” said Edmundo González Urrutia, presidential candidate for the Unitary Platform, when reporting this Saturday, October 19, that he suffered an injury to his left arm when he had a “stumble.” He noted that he had to go to a healthcare center in Spain to be treated.
«Today with my sling, which was what caused me the setback. “I thank the hospital for the attention and appreciation of our exiled doctors,” he said.
On his X (Twitter) account, González Urrutia said that to his surprise, he was treated by a Venezuelan doctor, considered one of the “best” in the Spanish hospital.
“Not only did I feel proud of the recognition from his colleagues, I was also moved to think that the talent of my countryman was exiled like millions, like me,” he wrote.
In this regard, he assured that his commitment is that national talent “come back and support us in the reconstruction of Venezuela.”
Last Thursday, October 17, Edmundo González Urrutia reiterated in an interview with cnn that he hopes to return to Venezuela on January 10 and that he does not plan, at the moment, to take an oath abroad. «It is not a scenario that I have planned at this moment. The swearing-in is before the National Assembly in Venezuela,” he stated.
