Until this Sunday, October 20, you can vote for Peru’s eight nominations in the World Travel Awards 2024, known as the Tourism Oscar Awards and which recognizes the best in world tourism.

As recalled, in the 2023 edition of the World Travel Awards, Peru won in four categories: World’s leading tourist attraction: Machu Picchu, World’s leading culinary destination, Best leading cultural destination in the world and Best country destination in South America.
These are the nominations for Peru in the World Travel Awards 2024:
1.-Leading tourist attraction in the world 2024: Machu Picchu. Our tourist banner was awarded five times (2017,2018,2019, 2021 and 2022)
2.-Leading culinary destination in the world 2024. Peru has been winner 11 times in this category, between 2012 and 2023.

3.-Best cultural leader in the world 2024. Peru obtained this trophy in 5 editions (2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023).
4.-World’s leading green destination 2024. Peru rose to the top of the podium in 2012.
5.-Leading destination in the world 2024.
6.-World’s leading cruise destination 2024.
7.-World’s leading urban heritage destination 2024: Lima.
8.-World’s leading tourism office 2024: Promperú.

The award ceremony will take place in the city of Madeira, Portugal, on November 24, 2024.
