The teachers and students of the National School of Biological Sciences of the IPN, who remained on strike for seven weeks demanding the rehiring of interim teachers and so that there are enough reagents in the laboratories, yesterday handed over the facilities to the campus authorities of the Casco de Santo Tomás and Zacatenco, after achieving the reinstatement of 374 interim teachers.

The paristas acknowledged that there are still pending issues. However, they highlighted that they managed to agree with managers that payments be punctual for interim staff, since previously they took up to two months. Regarding the situation of shortage of reagents, it was announced that these supplies are already being purchased to replenish the laboratories.
