Vice presidential candidate Carolina Cosse addressed the public first, followed by Yamandú Orsi, presidential candidate for the Frente Amplio, at the event that took place this Friday night on a public street in Nueva Palmira.
Cosse made a speech focusing more on daily life “on opening hospitals with more technology, incorporating more universities within the republic, improving education, and taking advantage of the 5G fiber optics that arrived with the Frente Amplio government. Comrades, one more effort of militancy and we won in October, in the first round.”
Orsi referred to the economic life of the country, mentioning “the 550 thousand” workers who earn “less than 24 thousand pesos” and who “must improve their salary.” It took into account the generation of “more employment” and “better retirements for those who earn the least.”
This political force, which has more than 40% of voters (according to surveys), was accompanied on the night of the 17th by a large audience, in what was the closing of the campaign in the department of Colonia, choosing Nueva Palmira for that.
