The Prizes and Betting Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance authorized two bets (virtual betting companies) to operate across the country. On Friday night (18), the organization updated the list of released companies, which rose from 98 to 100.
By court order, the Ministry of Finance included the companies Sportvip Group International Apostas, which manages three bets, and the company Megapix Comunicação e Tecnologia, which manages one. The first company was included because it complies with the regulations required by the Prizes and Betting Secretariat. The second was included by court order.
This was the second company allowed to operate nationally since the tightening of regulations at the beginning of the month. On Wednesday (16), the Ministry of Finance had authorized the return of Reals Brasil, which operates three bets, and Esportes Gaming Brasil, which controls two websites. In the case of Esportes Gaming, owner of the website Esportes da Sorte, sponsor of Corinthians, the reinclusion followed a court order.
The list of bets authorized to operate in the states has not changed. It continues with 26 companies authorized to operate in the following states: five in Paraná, four in Maranhão, one in Minas Gerais, eight in Rio de Janeiro and eight in Paraíba.
The updated versions of the national and state lists can be consulted at Prizes and Betting Secretariat page.
Negative list
In relation to the approximately 2,030 irregular companies and websites, the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) started deactivating the pages on Friday (11). The regulatory agency notified around 21,000 companies, including providers and operators across the country, to suspend access to websites on the negative list.
