Venezuela-Malaysia Parliamentary Friendship Group installed

The deputy to the National Assembly José Gregorio Colmenares reported this Wednesday on the installation of the Venezuela-Malaysia Parliamentary Friendship Group, which aims to promote and consolidate relations between both nations.

The installation of the friendship group took place in the Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa library of the Federal Legislative Palace in Caracas.

Colmenares, who chairs the group, explained that it also seeks to strengthen ties of cooperation and solidarity among parliamentarians.

“We are overcome with the emotion of working together, as the brothers and sisters that we are, members of bodies that reflect the maximum political expression of the will of the citizens of our nations,” he emphasized through his channel on Telegram.

The deputy added that in the aforementioned friendship group they plan to develop an action program in order to publicize the culture, economy, knowledge and, mainly, the truth of the country.
