The Executive power will officially present the proposal for increase capacity in closed spaces 100% this Friday, February 25, announced the head of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM), Hannibal Torres.
“We will present the detailed evolution of the capacity on Friday because the scientific study that has been discussed in the Ministry of Health is being completed”, said Torres during a press conference of the Ministerial Cabinet.
“There we have qualified scientists so that we can make the capacity more flexible and that is going to be, of course, very beneficial for the opening of the market.”, he added.

The Minister of Health, Hernán Condori, announced that this week he would present to the Council of Ministers the proposal so that the restrictions on capacity are set aside, after almost 2 years of the measure being imposed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 .
The Ministry of Health (Minsa) is also considering greater flexibility, given that the withdrawal of the use of masks due to the coronavirus is being “studyed”.
Torres indicated today that “with the measures that have been taken” and “with the massive vaccination that is being carried out” it is already possible to consider increasing the capacity to 100%.
