Santo Domingo.- The riot located east of the Lesser Antilles continues to cause persistent rain, but in the next 24 hours no development is expected. It is moving towards the west of the Atlantic between 10 and 15 miles per hour (16 and 24 kilometers).
This was reported by the United States National Hurricane Center (CNH) in its report issued this Wednesday afternoon.
This system is expected to become a tropical depression this week, as it passes through the Atlantic, according to the CNH forecast.

For its part, the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reported that a high pressure system or anticyclone will continue to influence so that no significant rain is generated, at least until Friday.
