“I am very grateful to have been able to serve my country, it has taken me a lot to later reintegrate into my artistic activity, in which I have been working for more than 30 years and it is where I want to continue. “I have no plans to participate in politics,” he declared.

Although distancing himself from politics is not alien to the Peruvian reality, Del Solar indicated that the political situation left aside respect for the rules and the neglect of citizen concerns.

“I do not plan to participate in politics, I do not plan to be a candidate, but I also do not plan to remain silent as a citizen, when my rights are affected and we see… that actions are taken in defense of particular interests, often informal and even illegal, without addressing urgent situations that deserve an answer,” he mentioned.
