«In response to the irresponsible statements and actions of José Brito, from Primero Justicia we declare: It is evident that his attempt to attack our struggle is a reflection of what we represent. “That a scorpion directs its attacks against our leaders is a clear sign that we are a nuisance for Nicolás Maduro’s regime,” the party said in a statement released on October 16.
On his social networks, PJ emphasized that “Venezuela knows well who is who and is aware of the role that some are playing in trying to put Primero Justicia at the service of the dictatorship and clinging to power through fraud.”
He stated that Primero Justicia is not just a name or a card; but “a set of values, facts and irreplaceable human capital.”

The organization added that the vigilantes will not be part of “the game” of Nicolás Maduro’s government.
«Our approach is firm. There is no doubt: our effort and our actions will be aimed at ensuring respect for the popular sovereignty of Venezuelans and materializing the victory of Edmundo González Urrutia,” he added.
José Brito, deputy to the 2020 National Assembly and to whom the TSJ gave control of the Primero Justicia party, announced this Wednesday, October 16, the “expulsion” of several opposition politicians such as María Beatriz Martínez, president of the organization, along with Juan Pablo Guanipa , Juan Carlos Caldera and Julio Borges.
This was indicated by Brito after reading a resolution from the national board of that judicialized party. He asserted that the measure “ratifies” Borges’ “exit”, which had been taken last July.
He proposed “going to the corresponding jurisdictional bodies to denounce civilly and criminally those who intend to continue usurping functions using the name of the political organization.”
