Santo Domingo.- The Government of Haiti This Wednesday, he condemned and accused the deportations of citizens of that country by the Dominican authorities of being “illegal, racist, discriminatory and xenophobic.”
The sentence was issued this Wednesday during the Government Council of Haitiheaded by Prime Minister Garry Conille, where the Dominican Government is accused of “violating international provisions.”
“This Government Council focused on a resolution that condemns the massive and discriminatory deportations and even of certain foreigners by the Dominican Republic, without respect for legal processes and without respect for human dignity, in a context of growing xenophobia,” expressed the Haitian Government in a statement.

The note states that “it was an opportunity to plan urgent responses aimed at respecting the human rights of Haitian citizens.”
The Dominican authorities began a repatriation program for illegal immigrants, following the announcement by President Luis Abinader that his government planned to repatriate ten thousand Haitians a week.
It is estimated that more than 600,000 Haitians reside in the country, most of them illegal, a number that many believe increased after the crisis worsened in the neighboring nation, the poorest in America.
