The Third Constitutional Chamber of El Alto ordered the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) to continue with the organization of the judicial elections, which are called for December 1 and whose implementation was once again in doubt after controversial new judicial rulings.

The aforementioned court ordered, “as a precautionary measure, the continuation of the process of organization, direction, supervision, administration and execution of the electoral process for the elections” of the magistrates because, with its new paralysis, ““irreparable and irremediable damage could be generated,” according to a Unitel publication.

It is known that this determination was made after a enforcement action brought by Esteban Alavi, leader of the Interculturals of the Arcist wing.

Hours before, the Vice Minister of Communication, Gabriela Alcón, said that a tribunal admitted a compliance action that seeks to guarantee the continuity of the judicial elections and that the hearing is scheduled for Thursday.

“We have learned that a compliance action has been admitted in the Departmental Court of Justice of La Paz, which has been presented (…) prior to the resolution of the amparos, both of Beni and Pando, and that said admission “He has a hearing tomorrow,” stated the government authority.

On Tuesday, Charles Mejía, president of a constitutional chamber in Beni, ordered the TSE to return to the Legislative Assembly the lists of candidates for the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) and the Plurinational Constitutional Court (TCP), and declared “the call void.” ” for both instances.

The same day it was learned that a ruling was also issued in Pando against the continuity of the judicial proceedings, although, regarding this second case, the TSE assured that it was not notified.
