A new increase in the price of fuel will take effect from Friday, February 26.
According to the National Secretary of Energy, starting at 6:00 in the morning, in the provinces of Panama and Colón, 95-octane gasoline will rise 0.026, remaining at B/. 1,059 per liter; while that of 91 octane 0.027; that is to say B/. 1.033 and diesel will increase 0.022, which means a price of B/.0.970 per liter.
Converting to gallons, both 91 and 95 octane gasoline will go up 10 cents per gallon and diesel 8 cents per gallon.
These prices will be valid until March 11.
