They predict a Wednesday with a lot of heat and little rain

Aguaceros disminuirán a partir de este martes, según Onamet

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) indicated that starting this Wednesday a progressive reduction in humidity will begin to be perceived, therefore, a mostly sunny sky with scattered clouds is expected.

However, in towns in the provinces of Pedernales and Barahona, from early morning hours, cloud fields can be observed entering, to generate local downpours, thunderstorm activity and some gusts of wind; which will decrease as the hours go by.

Likewise, some showers are expected in the towns of Dajabón, Monte Cristi and Santiago Rodríguez.

For the rest of the country, they predicted good weather conditions that will prevail overnight.

For tomorrow they also predicted many hours of sunshine and hot temperatures.

“Despite a trough at altitude, it will not have much support to produce significant rains, so only in the afternoon hours are some scattered showers expected without ruling out thunderstorms in sectors of the southeast and northeast,” detailed Indomet.

This in provinces such as: Hato Mayor, San Pedro de Macorís, Monte Plata, Duarte and Samaná.
