The community of Gigante, Huila, is shocked by the tragic death of Anyi Tatiana Montealegre, a 23-year-old girl, originally from this municipality. According to initial information, Anyi was murdered in the city of Houston, Texas, presumably at the hands of her romantic partner, identified as Jhon Jidier, who is a fugitive from justice.

According to the story shared by Blu Radio, one of the victim’s relatives revealed that Anyi’s mother received a call from Jhon’s father. In said call, he was informed that his son had murdered the young woman. After this alarming news, Anyi’s relatives tried to contact the owner of the apartment where the young woman lived. Upon arriving at the place, the owner found Tatiana’s body in a room.
The young woman had emigrated to the United States in December of last year, in search of better opportunities for herself and her two-year-old daughter. However, their dreams were abruptly cut short due to this terrible act of violence.

The US authorities have launched an investigation to clarify the facts, which indicate that the young woman was the victim of multiple stab wounds.
