Maduro acknowledges receipt of invitation from the Legislature to be sworn in on 10E

The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduroacknowledged receipt of the invitation from the Legislative Branch for his swearing-in on January 10, 2025 after being victorious in the July 28 elections.

From Barracks 4F, in the 23 de Enero parish in Caracas, during the ceremony of transmission of command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb), the head of state publicly confirmed that he received the letter of invitation and that he will formally attend the fulfillment of the oath according to the Constitution “before whom the winning candidate is sworn in once promulgated by the Electoral Power.”

“Greetings to the president of the National Assembly, deputy Jorge Rodríguez (…) I have received the invitation from the board of directors of the National Assembly to swear in as constitutional president for the period 2025-2031 on January 10 before the Federal Legislative Palace, before the sovereign of Venezuela.”

Ayacucho Plan 2024-2030

During the activity, the commander-in-chief of the Fanb, within the framework of the 7Ts, activated the Ayacucho Plan 2024-2030 as part of a structural and strategic transformation, with a long-term vision, to consolidate a military power that guarantees respect for Venezuela. and the full exercise of the Constitution, in freedom and independence.

In this regard, he reported that starting next December 9, 2024, during the commemoration of the 200 years of the victory of the Liberation Army in the Pampas of Ayacucho, this plan will be activated for the complete transformation of the Fanb and will culminate on December 17, 2030. after “achieving the leadership role in Latin America, in the Caribbean. “Venezuela will be at the forefront of the construction of the new multipolar world.”

He assured that he has faith in Fanb to build “Venezuela power, that great Venezuela.”

Lines of action

Maduro ordered new activities to the ratified military authorities and to the officials named this Monday at the head of the Fanb.

In this sense, it ratified the four lines of action that have to do with:

  • Move forward at an accelerated pace in recovering the well-being of the military family.
  • The improvement of the doctrinal, ideological, moral, military-technical and operational training system in the military field.
  • Align and protect all military equipment for the defense of the nation, keeping them in permanent combat formation.
  • Deepen the civic, military and police power of the country to defend the people from any aggression.

Fight against criminal gangs

President Maduro called for deepening the popular-military-police fusion through the Rapid Response Units (URRA) in the territory, “freeing it from any type of group that generates violence or destabilization.”

“To guarantee the entire territory of the country free of criminal gangs and trains, mercenaries and any type of conspiring vermin that seek to interfere with the peace and tranquility of Venezuela,” he stated.

Fake news against president of the CNE

Maduro denounced attacks by the international media against the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso.

On this topic, he emphasized that the international media “were in daily psychological warfare, the magazine Week of Bogotá, which is the drug trafficking magazine, of the paramilitaries Álvaro Uribe Vélez and Iván Duque, today headlined: ‘Elvis Amoroso fled from Venezuela’.”

“I say to Vicky Dávila (Colombian journalist), an accomplice of Colombian drug trafficking and the paramilitaries: ‘You broke down again,’” he highlighted.

In this scenario of mistakes, the head of state expressed that “you continue as you are going, you are doing well, with lies, fake news and we with the truth.”

He maintained that the president of the nation’s Electoral Branch, Elvis Amoroso, is fulfilling his duties as always.
