Grupo Sura and Grupo Argos called an extraordinary meeting of their respective shareholders’ meetings to study alternatives regarding the participation that each company has in the other.

In the statements issued by the companies it is explained that the reason behind these calls is also to evaluate and decide on potential conflicts of interest of some members of their boards regarding the issue.
Likewise, the authorization in matters of possible conflicts of interest of its legal representatives to celebrate and execute all the acts, agreements and operations that are required will be subject to consideration. for the preparation and implementation of the strategic alternative that is defined.

The conglomerates also indicated that they have made progress with the support of external advisors in the analysis of the strategic, financial and legal viability of different strategic options regarding your investment. That is, the ownership and participation structure that Grupo Argos has in Sura and vice versa.
To date, no decision has been made, so both Sura and Argos indicated that the results of this process will be informed to the market in a timely manner.
Extraordinary meetings will take place next October 21.
