The National Police reported this Tuesday afternoon that it identified and actively pursues the person who killed the young man Wendell Alejandro Almonte Veloz, 28, attacked by gunfire on Charles de Gaulle Avenue, in Santo Domingo Este, while driving a vehicle.

In a video that was posted online last Saturday by his father, communicator and lawyer Alejandro Almonte, he accused a police sergeant of having committed the murder.
Almonte Veloz was driving a red Hyundai Elantra car with license plate A968431, while his attacker was traveling on a blue Bajaj motorcycle.
Early this Tuesday morning, search warrant No. 530-EMES-2024-02058 was executed at the fugitive’s residence, where he has not appeared since Saturday morning.
