National Police seize packages with drugs in a Pacific port

The National Police, through the National Directorate of Police Intelligence (DNIP), seizes a shipment of alleged illicit substances that was stored inside 13 black briefcases inside a container located in a Pacific port.

When carrying out the visual inspection and subsequent registration, the anti-narcotics units of the National Police counted a total of 410 rectangular packages lined with adhesive tape and orange plastic.

It was learned that the container where the alleged drugs were hidden came from the United States and had the Republic of Sweden as its final destination. The case was placed under the orders of the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Drug-Related Crimes in order to begin the necessary investigations.
