They plant trees in Hugo Chávez Park in solidarity with Palestine

In an act of deep solidarity with the Palestinian people, the Palestinian ambassador to Venezuela, Fadi Alzabentogether with the general secretary of ALBA-TCP, Jorge Arreaza, the president of Inparques, Rosinés Chávez and the president of the Young Mission, Génesis Garvett, planted 100 trees in the Hugo Chávez Park in Caracas.

In that sense, the Minister of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, Joshua Lorcawho was present at the event, pointed out that “this planting symbolizes much more than an environmental act. Each tree planted today represents a new sprout of hope and an unwavering commitment to life, peace and justice. At a time when the Palestinian people face brutal aggression by Israel, which has left a deep mark on both the population and the environment.

“This action reaffirms our solidarity and our call to the international community to demand the end of this occupation and respect for the human rights of the Palestinians,” he added.

Furthermore, he maintained that “by planting these trees, we honor the memory of the victims of war and reaffirm our commitment to building a more just and equitable world, where all people can live in peace and harmony with nature.”
