The Legislative Branch installed the Venezuela-African Union Parliamentary Friendship Group, in the Boyacá room of the Bolivian Museum in Caracas. The president of the group, deputy Jesus Suarez Chourioreported that in this way the way is opened to strengthen Venezuela’s relations with all the countries of the union.
The deputy spoke of the interest of these relations in terms of cultural, educational exchange and other areas. He said that expectations in the geopolitical and geostrategic order are broad, based on the scope of these meetings.
«We will continue walking, as a single block, in defense of respect. And we will make a common anti-Zionist and anti-terrorist front, despite the diversity,” the parliamentarian pointed out.
For her part, the vice president of the group, representative Luz Coromoto Chacónpointed out that this installation joins the International Parliamentary Forum against Fascism, and is a mechanism to make visible the normality of Venezuela.
