Santo Domingo.-The son of communicator Alejandro Almonte died this Sunday after being shot on Saturday by a until now unknown person, while he was traveling in his red Hyundai Elantra vehicle in Charles de Gaulle, in Santo Domingo Este.

This is Wandel Almonte, 28 years old, who was hit by several gunshots from a person on board a motorcycle, after which he was taken to a medical center where he died this Sunday.

The victim was driving a red Hyundai Elantra car, with license plate A968431.

Regarding the incident, the National Police said that it is advancing in the investigations to clarify the circumstances in which things happened.

“The aggressor, whose identity is still under investigation, was traveling on a blue Bajaj motorcycle. The victim was driving a red Hyundai Elantra car, with license plate A968431,” he said.
