The Colombian National Team has launched a new shirt in celebration of the centenary of the Colombian Football Federation (FCF)

A new design that combines pastel colors and a slightly more focused flag. This is the new Colombia National Team shirt, in commemoration of the 100 years of the Colombian Football Federation. This premiere will take place during the match against Chile, corresponding to the tenth date of the South American Qualifiers.

The shirt’s design is a tribute to the first national teams, presenting a retro style that evokes the rich history of Colombian football. The garment is white, with the country’s flag prominently placed in the center of the chest, a design that has not been seen frequently in recent decades.
“The new exclusive design, in an elegant white color, symbolizes not only the Centennial, but the spirit of humble beginnings and the memorable greatness of those who have worn the national uniform,” the Federation explained in the announcement of the shirt.
The garment, created by the sports brand Adidas, will be available in brand stores at a price of 349,950 Colombian pesos. Fans will be able to choose between two versions: one with the Colombian flag on the chest and another completely white, both at the same rate.
This shirt is not only a modern design; It is also a nod to the clothing worn in the 1940s, when the color white predominated and the flag was located on the chest. The Adidas logo and the team’s crest are also presented in cream tones to complement the design.
In order to encourage the purchase, photos of the Colombian National Team players wearing the design are already circulating.
As part of the FCF’s centenary celebration, this new jersey will become Colombia’s main uniform during the Qualifiers. Therefore, in the confrontation against Chile, the ‘tricolor’ will not wear its traditional yellow shirt, but will opt for this new and significant clothing.
